Happy Juice Games has released the latest trailer for the animated adventure game Lost in Play on the Future Games Show and announced its release date. This exquisitely looking point-and-click adventure game will be released for PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch on August 10, 2022.
Lost in Play aims to bring nostalgic sensations to players by taking them back to those sunny afternoons of the school season. “It’s the times when we go on adventures in the backyard or run away from homework and play games in the park,” says the developer. The visuals of the game are inspired by both today’s cartoons and the beautiful cartoons that we seniors watch on weekends while growing up.
Yuval Markovich, co-founder of Happy Juice Games, said, “This is a game where you and I can play in front of our children and show them a piece of our childhood. So we were inspired by the spirit of those cartoons that we all watched growing up. “We aimed to recapture that magic that we lost as we got older, and when you play Lost in Play, you’ll experience that magic, nostalgia, and feel-good factor.”
The description on the game’s Steam page is as follows:
Help a brother and sister on an epic adventure that gives them happiness to find their way home. Running away from a horned monster and meeting strange goblins is only part of the journey!
With elaborate puzzles and colorful characters, Lost in Play is a journey into childhood dreams. Play as a duo of brothers and sisters on an adventure to find their way home. Torn between reality and fantasy, the brothers discover the enchanted forest of a horned monster, start a rebellion in a goblin village, and help a team of frogs remove a sword from a stone.
