A new trailer for the new game of A Plague Tale: Innocence was released during the Xbox and Bethesda presentation on Sunday. While a release date has yet to be announced for the game, A Plague Tale: Requiem was revealed during the Xbox and Bethesda co-presentation, along with a trailer showcasing its stealth system and some of Hugo’s new rat powers.
A Plague Tale: Requiem release date to be announced
However, the trailer only ended with the year 2022 and there was no further special release information. Publisher Focus Entertainment said it could announce the release date in its own presentation later this month. In the trailer, we see Hugo and Amicia challenging soldiers in different places, possibly in France. But some desert footage suggests the two may be traveling to different countries.
It also showed off some new weapons, including a Tatar bow that Amicia could use, a sword, Hugo’s powers, and the reliable rock slingshot featured in the first production. Unfortunately, we haven’t gotten much of an idea of what its plot is, but the description of the trailer states that Amicia and Hugo will “embark on a journey that spreads by word of mouth into a cruel, breathtaking world.” This shows that the couple will have to overcome quite tiring difficulties.
A Plague Tale: Requiem was one of the few exciting games shown during the event, and other highlights included Starfield and the announcement that Hollow Knight: Silksong would be available on launch day.
