Elden Ring is a sprawling open-world game filled to the brim with deadly hordes of enemies. The variety of enemies in Elden Ring has earned plenty of praise since the game’s release. Each main position offers new creatures for players to take on. Given the sheer number of enemies present in the game, it’s no surprise that some Elden Ring players aren’t even aware of all the attacks in their hands.
A new attack appeared in Elden Ring
This was the case for Elden Ring fan and Reddit user Expedition20, which recently shared a clip of an enemy carrying out an attack on the Elden Ring that they claimed they had never seen in their 300 hours of gameplay. In the video, Expedition20 is chased by skeleton monsters outside Leyndell Royal Capital. As Expedition20 runs around the skeletons with Torrent, one of the creatures suddenly poses for T, emitting black flames floating through the air.
There are some theories as to how this might happen. Some think that only certain skeletons outside of Leyndell were able to make this attack, while other fans think that very few people did so because the creatures died relatively quickly. Basically, most Elden Ring players kill these things before they are given the chance to make such an attack.
Because of the incredible size of Elden Ring, there are plenty of fan stories that have already made discoveries like this after spending significant time with the game. One player discovered that Elden Ring crystal darts could be used to make golem enemies fight each other, making certain encounters in the game much easier than they would otherwise be. They claimed to have played the game for more than 400 hours before they knew it.
But sometimes these Elden Ring discoveries can be more heartbreaking than exciting. In another example, a player sets up runk farming in the Elden Ring with the goal of reaching 1 billion Rons for 55 hours, and unfortunately, learns that the game does not allow players to get 1 billion Rings, reaching a maximum of 999,999,999.
Elden Ring continues to top the sales charts, which means that more fans will always be starting their adventures at Lands Between. It will be interesting to see them and long-time Elden Ring players continue to explore Elden Ring while continuing to play FromSoftware’s newest games.
