One of the most positively reviewed games on Steam, Terraria has been redesigned by a fan as 3D. Although it is a small production, a user has rolled up his sleeves and embarked on a three-dimensional version for the production, which is very popular on the platform where it is published and is very loved by fans.
Terraria reappears in 3D
Before we get into the subject, let me tell you about the recent short success of the game. The game displaced Portal 2 for 13 hours on the Steam platform, becoming the most positively reviewed game on the platform. But then Portal 2 retook the throne, pushing Terraria to 2nd place. This shows how much the game is loved by the players.
As a matter of fact, this love can cease to be abstract and become flesh and blood. A user named Peteh12, also known as 3D Worm, has rolled up his sleeves for Terraria 3D. This project, which will include game mechanics, enemies and boss battles, will be a free-to-play adaptation. When Peteh12 first announced the project on Reddit, he said:
“I’ve been working on this project for a little over half a year now and now there have been 2 boss battles. The construction system and the logging system are also ready, but they are still in the very early stages of development. When it goes live, it will be free for everyone to play.”
Their production, which they have prepared using Unity game engine technology, has a HUD and UI (user interface) system that has been developed faithfully to the art design of the original game. You can check out some of the boss battles and the development process of the project on the developers’ YouTube channel .
