Indie developer Sabotage Studios, known for its wonderful metroidvania The Messenger, has announced that their new game Sea of Stars has been postponed to 2023.
In a statement on Twitter, the studio said: “Considering the two main priorities – the quality of life of our team and the quality of the finished game – we can say that Sea of Stars will be released in 2023. We know it’s hard to wait, and we sincerely thank our community for their tremendous support and positive messages. In the meantime, we’re evaluating our options to make a playable piece available to everyone in this province.”
The demo of the game, which they call playable parts, so this year we will be able to play at least the demo of the game itself, if not the game, and see what Sabotage Studios has prepared for us.
Sea of Stars, which launched a Kickstarter campaign in 2020, raised over $ 1 million in funding.
