Developer People Can Fly has shared details of its first major patch for Outriders, scheduled for release next week. It also announced a “community appreciation package” to compensate for launch issues that caused many people to be unable to play the game. They made a number of candid statements.
Outriders ” community appreciation package” to be distributed
“After more than five years of working on Outriders, we are as disappointed as you are that the launch weekend did not go as planned,” the developer said in a Reddit post.
Anyone who plays the game between March 31 and April 11 will receive a legendary weapon and a level-appropriate amount of titanium. Of course, that may vary yet. “We are stilldetermining when the appreciation package will be delivered,” the studio said.
The game’s first major patch will include “general stability improvements for the matchmaking service”, and People Can Fly is also very confident that the fixes included in the update will solve the crash issues experienced by players. Patch notes are as follows:
Patch notes
- Cross-platform crossplay will be back into service after the update is released
- General stability improvements for the matching service
- Crash regulations
- Fixes an error that causes inventory to be completely deleted
- Fixes crash while completing “A Bad Day” side mission

People Can Fly hopes to release the patch on all platforms at the same time, but warns: “It may not always be possible.”
The developer studio is preparing to gift items from epic and legendary levels to players who have lost inventory in the coming weeks. “While we will do our best to make things right, we cannot guarantee the details of the above or its timeline, as we may face technical difficulties that delay our work.”
While the developer is also disappointed with the game’s erroneous release, we hope that in the future we will see an Outriders where the problems are resolved. Don’t forget to express your opinions in the comments.
