As you know, rumors about the release date of God of War Ragnarök were put forward in the past days. The information that the release date of the game would be determined in these few powers we were in was circulating with the rumors coming from the sources. Cory Barlog then made the necessary explanation, but that doesn’t seem to have satisfied some.
God of War threw penis photo at Ragnarök developer
We’ve seen developers squeezed out of social media many times before, with death threats being hurled at Cyberpunk’s developers, which are often postponed, but it’s just plain disgusting. God of War Ragnarök sent cinematic producer Estelle Tigani photos of some “PEOPLE” penises. Tigani, who was quite upset about the situation, shared a post on Twitter:
“Pro Tip: Sending me penis images and asking for the God of War Ragnarök release date won’t worry me about the release date. The people who did that, when did that work for you?”
Cory Barlog apologized to his employee on Twitter for the situation. He stressed the awfulness of the behavior. He also shared the following post on his own profile as well.
Unfortunately, even the makers of Monkey Island, a family-friendly adventure game, are getting their share of this toxic audience. As you know, Ron Gilbert stopped sharing because of the same type of people. I wonder when they will recover…
