In the early days of its debut, Rocket League occupied a tiny part of my group of friends’ lives. The game, which is now preparing to celebrate its seventh anniversary, reveals how old we are. Developer Psyonix is shamelessly preparing to celebrate the seventh anniversary of its game with big surprises.
During the celebrations, which will last about two weeks, a new event called Rocket League Birthday Ball will appear. For two weeks, you’ll be able to have fun in limited game modes, with access to exclusive contests and birthday-themed cosmetics. Of course, a large part of them will be freely available.
Rocket League Birthday Ball, which can be played on July 6-19, comes up with two different game modes. In the first week of the event, the game’s beloved Heatseeker mode will return. In this mode, when players touch the ball, the ball is headed directly to the opponent’s goal. In other words, we are talking about a mode where you will hear cries of “May the one who loves his God come to the defense”.
In the second week, which will start on July 13, the mode called Knockout will be added to the game. This mode, which eliminates the football theme of the game, will allow players to destroy each other.
