The Guardians of the Galaxy series is preparing to say goodbye to the screens in 2023. Perhaps the most entertaining cosmic team of the MCU, signed by James Gunn from start to finish, will complete the trilogy with a rather ambitious finale. Earlier, director James Gunn also spoke about the emotional intensity of the farewell film. This time, our only Star-Lord, Chris Pratt, has made a full statement of praise about the third film and Gunn.

Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 Set Is Sad

Speaking to Digital Spy, Pratt described the new film as a “true masterpiece”. The successful actor’s explanations are as follows;

“James Gunn witnessed a very difficult meeting the other day. I called him yesterday, we talked to him over Facetime, and he said everyone was really, really proud of the work they were doing. James told me we were all doing the best job we did together. She feels really confident. The script was incredible. I can say with great confidence that James Gunn has signed a real masterpiece. I can’t wait for people to see that. We’ve got James Gunn in front of us, and he’s made all three films, which is really rare and has a very special place in the world of big blockbuster trilogies.”

Chris Pratt, who can’t get enough of praising James Gunn, will probably take a break from his role as Star-Lord after 2023. Pratt, who has already become iconic as Peter Quill with the role he started to take part in in 2014, probably has a successor/predecessor plan for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The third film in which we will say goodbye to the Guardians of the Galaxy series will be released on May 23, 2023.
