New details are starting to come for BlizzCon, the gaming event organized by Blizzard Entertainment every year. According to the information, Blizzard Entertainment will bring back BlizzCon in 2023. Company president Mike Ybarra made various statements in this context and signaled that they will now organize a face-to-face event after the latest online event.
Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, Ybarra talked about her plans to bring BlizzCon back face-to-face in 2023. It’s not yet clear when the event will take place, but Blizzard is expected to share more information soon.
On the future status of BlizzCon, Ybarra said: “We have already announced that we are taking a break from BlizzCon for a while. But right now we are making plans for the future. We want to come back with a live event to reunite our community. We recently hired April McKee as the BlizzCon leader for this. That’s why we’re committed to bringing BlizzCon back in 2023.”
