Kao the Kangaroo developer Tate Multimedia has announced that it is expanding its third-party publishing. Tate Multimedia is already working on a number of unannounced projects around the world. However, only a few games are planned to be released this year.
Paul Leskowicz, vice president of Tate Multimedia, said in a press release: “We know the ups and downs. We understand the challenges on both sides of the developer-publisher relationship. What we’re planning now is taking working with third parties to the next step. In the coming months and years, we will share our expertise with many studios.
We know how important it is for an independent studio to maintain ownership of intellectual property as well as cash flow. Through our collaborative approach, we will provide clear financial visibility and comfort to our partners.”
