Dorian has announced the acquisition of game developer Nix Hydra.
The romantic game maker will help in accessing Dorian’s partnerships, resources, and community teams.
Dorian, a gaming platform that aims to empower women in games, allows users to create and monetize interactive visual games that are primarily aimed at writers.
In addition to the news of the acquisition, Nix Hydra’s community manager Alex Danino and lead artist Gabriella Rossetti joined Dorian.
Nix Hydra Games is a mobile game studio with a portfolio of games and apps that are popular with women. Nix Hydra Games is based in Los Angeles. Zynga is backed by the Foundry Group, the investors behind Harmonix and Fitbit.
