Hood: Outlaws & Legends, a medieval-themed multiplayer game, was announced in a new trailer. The video, which explains the structure and basic mechanics of the new game, the classes in it and what players need to do, shows that a very enjoyable game is coming. Let’s take a look at what kind of game we’re up against with the new trailer.
Hood: Outlaws & Legends gameplay footage released
The game, signed by Sumo Digital and Focus Home, focuses mainly on robbery. Players will both fight against each other and try to hijack the treasure by defeating artificial intelligence. Emphasizing that collaboration will be important, the developer team released the gameplay video, which you can watch right below.
In the new game we will play on the edge, our main goal is to defeat the artificial intelligences in our way and reach the object that we will play before the opposing players. In the game, we will choose one of four different classes, join our team, infiltrate the castles and try to miss the treasure inside. Castles will be defended by artificial intelligence, and in the meantime, your team and teams of other players will try to complete the same task. Two teams of four will compete in the same game.

A boss named “Sheriff” and knights will infiltrate castles guarded by archers and try to steal treasures that will earn rewards. Each of the castles will have its own unique surroundings and designs. There will also be hidden entrances and roads. Players will somehow infiltrate the castles to capture their rebirth points so that a player who dies in the line of duty will not have to start over. Next, we’re going to have to find the key to the stash where the treasure is stored. From time to time, we see tracks from Hunt Showdown and Payday 2, set in its own medieval universe.
In Hood: Outlaws & Legends, you’re not done finding the treasure. You will also need to safely take the treasure you found to a point and deliver it, while the opposing team will try to steal it from you. If you manage to save the treasure, you will move it out of the castle with the help of a crane and you will have successfully completed the mission. The four classes in the game are as follows:
- Ranger: Surrounded by a long arc, he is a reliable character who can take down enemies from almost any distance. He’ll even be able to bring the Sheriff to his knees, who is unstoppable with explosive arrows.
- Hunter: The assassin is a character based on secrecy. There’s a crossbow integrated into your arm, and it’s one-on-one to sneak down enemies. He’s got invisibility and smoke bomb skills.
- Brawler: Brawler, master of melee with his heavy weaponry and size, has the power to take down anything that gets in his way with a single hit. It also has the potential to directly defend your emerging team thanks to its special ability.
- Mystic: Capable of detecting nearby enemies, this character can also heal teammates. He also has a gun one-on-one for crowd control, which will make him indispensable to teams.
Thanks to the rewards you earn from the games, you will be able to improve and customize your character. Obviously Hood: Outlaws & Legends looks like it’s going to have a lot of fun gameplay.
