Publisher Dotemu and developer Tribute Games announced that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge sold more than a million copies in its first week. The game debuted on June 16 for PC on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and Steam. On the same day, it was added to the Xbox Game Pass platform.
Dotemu CEO Cyrille Imbert said in a press release: “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge has been of interest to me since I first started watching the original cartoon. One of the projects I dreamed of working on since I was a child was this game. This project, which deeply affects everyone at Dotemu, is a step in reviving the era of the Ninja Turtles. We are extremely grateful to Nickelodeon and our friends at Tribute Games for giving us this opportunity.”
The game design of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge takes you back to the 80s. Featuring full-color pixel art, new and improved mechanics and an old-style gaming experience, this production supports up to four players at the same time.
