The virtual reality version of Resident Evil 4 is being developed exclusively for Oculus Quest 2.
Capcom, Oculus Studios and Armature Studio shared new details and gameplay trailers from Resident Evil 4 VR at their presentation today.
Resident Evil 4 VR switches to first-person perspective. Our main character, Leon S. Kennedy, will be able to hold and use a different weapon in each hand, and the change of weapon will be done in-game. All weapons and items have been turned into physical objects and it is possible to study and interact. Advancing the character can be done by analogue or teleportation.
The game will offer over 4500 updated textures, overhauled geometry and enemy behavior, high frame rate and positional sound.
It’s going to check out later this year.
