Broadcaster NIS America and developer Falcom have announced the release date of Ys IX: Monstrum Nox’s Switch and PC(Steam).
It will be released in North America on July 6 and Europe on July 9.
Ys IX: Monstrum Nox was first released in Japan in September 2019 and playStation 4 in the West in February 2021.
Ys IX: Monstrum Nox is a role-playing game that focuses on fast-paced action where players can freely explore cities and dungeons and defeat enemies and bosses to improve their equipment. You don’t have to have played previous games in the series to log in to the game. Set in Balduq, northeast of Esterior in the Gllia Eldlingen region, it offers a new adventure that seeks to uncover the mysteries of people with supernatural abilities called Monstrum, each lurking in the huge city known as Prison City with six playable characters with unique abilities.
