Playwing has announced that it has postponed the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions of Century: Age of Ashes, a free-to-play dragon-themed multiplayer battle game, from its pre-planned July 19 release date to its summer release.
Century: Age of Ashes was first released on December 2, 2021 for PC via Steam, then for Xbox Series on March 10, 2022, and Xbox One on July 12.
On the postponement, the team says: “First, please accept our apologies. Some of you may be wondering why this delay was made when the game was so close to release.
We know that there are a lot of players who want to play on PlayStation platforms, and this will be a turning point in Century: Age of Ashes. Right after the release of the Xbox One version, we took action for their console on PlayStation. So we’re going to need a little more time to make sure we meet the quality standards on these PS4 and PS5 consoles.”
