Naughty Dog Co-President Neil Druckmann stated that the recent Fortnite rumors about The Last of Us are completely false. So much so that some players recently claimed that Joel and Ellie, two of the popular characters of the game, will soon appear in the Fortnite arena. The rumor that TLOU characters will come to the game as costumes has ended with Neil Druckmann’s statements.

The Last of Us characters will not come to Fortnite
Druckmann shared a post on Twitter that The Last of Us characters Joel and Ellie will not appear in Fortnite. He said he loves Fortnite, but he has no plans to do so in the coming period.
Twitter user Shiina, who put forward the rumor, also published a TwitLonger post with an update. He says he heard this rumor from a data miner and did not specify certainty when sharing it. Whatever happens, players in the gaming industry, especially those who follow leak news, will not follow people who share such false leaks.
