In the past few days, it was reported that things were not going very well for the free-to-play skating game Roller Champions. Upon this announcement, it was stated that the game would be discontinued as of the third season. But now Roller Champions’ official Twitter post says that’s not the case.
Speaking on the Xbox Era podcast, Giant Bomb journalist Jeff Grubb read the message from a source. In this source “Roller Champions 3. It will be removed from service after the season – it will be canceled.” Ubisoft confirmed in a new statement that this is not the case.
Ubisoft said in a statement that the game has not been canceled first, and that it currently has plans after the third season. The statement also states that many problems in the game will be fixed and the current 80s will extend the Disco Fever season.
Hello Champions! Let’s clear it out of the way first, Roller Champions isn’t getting cancelled, and Ubisoft fully supports it.
You can rest assured we’ll keep you updated as we roll forward.
