Firesprite Games announced that The Persistence Enhanced Edition will be released on June 4 with ray tracing support. You can also watch the trailer accompanying the description below.
Ray-Tracing support will appear in the form of Shadows, Lighting and Reflections in the game. There will also be some quality-enhancing changes with Enhanced Edition, such as extra monitor support, FPS lock settings, customizable controls, HUD scaling.
Persistence was an intriguing survival/horror/FPS game set in space. Here’s a brief story summary of the game:
The Persistence challenges you to survive, a clone of Zimri Eder on a colonial starship that is abandoned in space and ruled by terrifying and deadly creatures. You’re the last survivor. Your mission? Reactivate the ship’s functions and return to Earth.
Enhanced Edition will be available as a free update to anyone with a regular version of the game.
