FIFA 23 features
With the FIFA 23 features that are astonishing with the price of Turkey, we see that they have decided to take things a little further this year. In the official article published by EA, all the innovations and details are included.
With Hypermotion2 technology, better 11v11 match capture and machine learning technologies will be waiting for us in the next generation versions of the game. They say that more than 6,000 lifelike animations await us in FIFA 23. These realistic animations are also taken from real football players. All the animations are captured from real football matches, including competitions between women’s soccer teams. Thanks to this technology, they say that we will see more advanced animations in situations such as skill movements during the match, dribbling styles, sprints, goalkeeper behavior and head balls.
One of the innovations that we see as gameplay is technical dribblings. Depending on the dribbling ability of the footballer receiving the ball, this feature, which will now cover all movements made with the left stick by default, aims to increase realism. By combining some features of the footballer, differences will be provided in terms of switching between animations, fast direction changes or ball control. For example, if a player’s dribbling, agility and reaction characteristics are strong, the playback speeds of the animations will also change. Or, if his dribbling and reaction skills are advanced, he determines how fast he can move forward while dribbling the ball.
At the same time, the player ratings are a little more detailed. Now, in addition to the basic features, there will be another criterion called “Acceleration type”. This will determine how the player behaves when going from where he stands to his maximum speed. Some players will accelerate at once, while others will accelerate more slowly or explosively than players who jump out. This is again related to the characteristics of the footballer. You can see it alive in the video below.

New system finally for free kicks
The expected novelty for free kicks will be introduced in FIFA 23. As you can see in the video below, the luck factor will now decrease a little more and be replaced by talent and timing. In the previous system, no matter how talented the player was, there was always a chance factor of at least 40%, and in some cases it affected the gameplay badly.
There are no bad goalkeepers in FIFA games
Unfortunately, since FIFA 17, there really is no bad goalkeeper in any game in the series. A goalkeeper with a rating of 60 that you never expected can be a star in an instant. In FIFA 23, they also leaned a little towards the goalkeepers and added a little more realism to their animations. Now you’ll be able to see animations of the goalkeeper’s fingers touching the ball as he floats to save a free-kick that you hit just in the corner with 58 powers.
Women’s soccer teams come into play
One of the innovations that will be seen in FIFA 23, which is not in the other games of the series this year, is the women’s football teams. Female footballers, who we could only see in national teams before, will have their own leagues and struggles this year. At the same time, some skill moves and animations that only female footballers can perform will take their place in the game.
