Metro Exodus, the latest game in the much-loved Metro series for now, is set to appear in an improved version very soon; 4A Games announced the launch of the Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition on May 6, while sharingits system needs information.
System needs are a little high. This version of the game requires at least an Nvidia RTX2060 graphics card for 1080p/45 FPS at minimum settings; Ultra settings (for 4K/30 FPS) require an Nvidia RTX 3080 or AMD RX 6900 XT graphics card. For RT Extreme settings (4K/60 FPS), as you can imagine, the Nvidia RTX 3090 is being added to this list of needs.
We can also understand a little bit what kind of change Metro Exodus EE will be, what features it comes with, why it comes with such monstrous system needs when you look at it. Digital Foundry has prepared a 40-minute video on this topic and shared a lot of detailed information:
Don’t you think it looks beautiful? It’s not that I didn’t get excited as I looked at the shared screenshots and watched the video. But, of course, with the needs of this system, we can watch from a little further 🙂
72GB of loading space is needed to install the main game, 1GB for The Two Colonels and 6.4GB for Sam’s Story.
Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition will be available for free through GOG, Microsoft Store, Steam and Epic Games Store as of May 6 for those who own the original game.
