Among the series that will be released from Netflix, Sandman seems to be the biggest project of this year. Although Stranger Things managed to turn all records upside down with its new season, Neil Gaiman’s adaptation of the master has been eagerly awaited for years. Two days before the end of the longing, good news continues to come from the Sandman front. It seems that the script of the second season of the series has already entered the writing stage, but the new season has not yet been confirmed by Netflix.
In an interview with Den of Geek, series producer David S. Goyer said, “In some ways, it’s easier to write the scripts for the second season. Because we’ll be educating viewers on some simple ideas. We will show them how the dream world can affect an awakening world. Once we have the foundation stones in place, we can build the series on these themes.” He confirmed that preliminary preparations had begun. Looking at Goyer’s statements, the series we will probably watch on August 5 will literally serve as a “Sandman 101”. The series, which the producers and creator Neil Gaiman are also very hopeful about, will hopefully not let us down like most of its counterparts.
