Blizzard has detailed its strategy for publishing content for Diablo Immortal and announced plans to release a content update to the game every two weeks.
These updates will be of two types: “mini updates” will take the form of Battle Pass season, in-game events and feature improvements, while “major updates” will offer more extensive content such as new gameplay features and new story sections.
“We shouldn’t think of this content specifically for a Mini or Big content update, sometimes we can release it as soon as it reaches a level of quality worthy of our players,” says Blizzard.
Diablo Immortal’s Season 3 update and the new Battle Pass, titled Aspect of Justice, will be released tomorrow. In addition to the free Battle Pass, there will also be a choice of paid Empowered Battle Pass and Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass.
The Empowered Battle Pass will include Aspect of Justice weapon cosmetics and Aspect of Justice armor cosmetics, while the Collector;s version will also feature the Aspect of Justice Avatar framework, Portal cosmetics and a ten-rank boost.
The third season Battle Pass runs until September 1.
