Frogwares yesterday shared the first images with actors for Sherlock Holmes The Awakened Remake project. The original game was released in 2007 and its story came together to combine the themes of Sherlock Holmes and Cthulhu. Sherlock Holmes The Awakened Remake will reappear with Unreal Engine 4 15 years after the first game.

In this remake project, the models and textures of all objects have been renewed. We’ll also see new animations and cutscenes. It is stated that new investigation mechanics have been added to the gameplay. In addition, minor edits have been made to the game’s story. So much so that in the new game, Sherlock Holmes will appear in a younger way.
The Sherlock Holmes The Awakened Remake project will include optional side missions, a redesigned user interface, some changes to the third-person camera, plus many quality of life improvements.
