Konami shared the results of this year’s eFootball Championship Open, where some of the world’s best eFootball™ ™ players came together to compete for the championship in their regions and platforms.
The eFootball™ Championship Open is an amateur competition that can be attended by players from all over the world. The competition is divided into three geographical regions: Asia, Oceania and other areas; Europe and Africa; Americas. Each region is then divided into four clusters for the different platforms used: PlayStation®, Xbox, PC Steam® and Mobile. Six players per platform (two per region) advance to the World Finals.
Every year, the competition serves as a gateway for amateur players to showcase their skills to professional clubs. Every year it is also remembered that former players made agreements with clubs after their success in the championship. This year’s eFootball™ Championship Pro also featured former players such as Galatasaray’s Mucahit, AS Roma’s Gagliardo28 and tournament MVP AS Monaco’s Nezka.
The World Finals hosted a series of 1v1 final pairings in the last six on each platform, resulting in the victory of four players. The champions of the different platforms are as follows:
PlayStation – Futefacil10
Xbox – xNaples17x
PC Steam – Verdy_Takaki_
Mobile – ig_asgard_azizi
