Elden Ring;s worldwide sales reached 16.6 million. Released in February, the game managed to attract not only FromSoftware fans, but also other players. This explains why the game has sold more than the games of the Souls series.
As a comparison, Dark Souls 3, the last game of the Souls series, sold about 10 million. Total sales of the Dark Souls trilogy were around 27 million (the last announcement on this subject was made in 2020). Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has sold around 5 million.
Elden Ring was at 13.4 million in the previous quarter, which means it has sold over 3 million in the last 3 months, which means it has maintained its momentum.
Although Bandai Namco hasn’t released any significant games this quarter, Elden Ring has seen revenue growth of around 54% through the same period last year.
