It’s been 3 years since the last God of War game came out, taking the God of War franchise to a whole new level, paving the way for a whole new path not only for the series but also for the gaming world in general. Rumors of a sequel, which began immediately after the game was released, have now become official with last year’s God of War Ragnarok announcement. The announcement also stated that the game would arrive in 2021, which was enough to excite God of War fans.
But so far we haven’t seen anything tangible about this new game, there was only one image in the palm of your hand, that’s all. This suggests that the chances of the game being postponed are very strong. Now we have a second image; The play’s director, Cory Barlog, posted a new image on his Twitter account; or rather, he replaced the top image of his account with a new God of War drawing.
As soon as the new visual arrived, gamers embarked on a new adventure, of course, the adventure of decrypting this image. I don’t know if there’s a code in the image or not, but we see it’s full of familiar faces. Kratos, Atreus, Mimir, Freya, Baldur, Huldra brothers Brok and Sindri and another duo in the game are Magni and Modi. We also see a snake’s eye in the back, as if 🙂
Careful Reddit users also saw Freya’s pig HildisvĂni in the background. They speculate that thor could be the mysterious character visible from the window. Finally, again, with a little light play, they found that there were some runes in the image, which, predictably, means “Ragnarok”.
Obviously, it’s a pleasure to hunt for information from visuals, to try to decipher passwords, but it wouldn’t be a bad thing if something decent was shown about this game now. We look forward to the news coming in the coming days and we are following it very closely.
