Publisher eastasiasoft has announced that it will release Xuan-Yuan Sword VII, an action role-playing game developed by Softstar Entertainment and DOMO Studio, for the Switch in 2023. Xuan-Yuan Sword VII was first released worldwide on Steam for PC and on October 29, 2020 for PlayStation 4 in Asia. It was then released in Japan for the PlayStation 4 on December 10, 2020. It was later released worldwide for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 30, 2021.
Xuan-Yuan Sword VII is an action role-playing game played from a third-person perspective.
Based on Chinese history and mythology, the game is set in China 2000 years ago. The development team will try to reflect on ancient Chinese environments, humanity and culture. Players will take on the role of a cool-headed and reliable swordsman named Taishi Zhao. Taishi Zhao will embark on a journey to protect his family and uncover the truth of this chaotic environment.
