The controversial security technology 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) system, which was recently disabled in Overwatch 2, will reportedly be featured in the action shooter game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. According to Blizzard’s website, players will need to perform phone verification to play Modern Warfare II.
The 2FA verification system, which was recently implemented in Overwatch 2 and later removed, gave players a hard time. Some players had trouble logging into the game, while others faced different problems. Now it is said that this system will be included in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will debut on October 28 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Those who pre-order the game will get early access to campaing mode starting October 20.
