The sequel to Yakuza spin-off Judgment is coming up.
Publisher Sega and developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio announced Lost Judgment for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
It will be released simultaneously worldwide on September 24, 2021.
Takayuki Yagami, our main character who has given up advocacy and started working as a private detective, will once again try to solve a new murder mystery with his former Yakuza partner Masaharu Kaito.
The first game was set in kamurocho, the fictional district of Tokyo. The sequel will mostly take place in the port city of Yokohama. One of the most important areas will be the high school where Takayuki Yagami will look for clues. Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio said the high school can take players back to their school days.
In addition to the Tiger and Crane fighting styles in the first game, the sequel will also have a new fighting style called Snake to disarm enemies carrying weapons and knives. This fighting style will also be used to mercifully fend off attacks by high schoolers against you.
