After Borderlands 3, it looks like work is under way on the new game in the series.
Recently, the Gamereactor site raised rumors that the spin-off Borderlands game was being developed and gearbox was helping the project as the second developer.
In response to these rumours, Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford stated that gearbox will be the chief developer in any future game of the Borderlands series.
Randy Pitchford said afterwards, “We’re definitely working on some great things, and I hope they’ll surprise and delight you. Those who rely on their talent and want to get into Borderlands action, we are working on something big,” he said, pointing to the new Borderlands game and the search for new employees for the game.
