The next-generation version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which will include a variety of visual and technical improvements, is being developed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC.
CD Projekt RED can get help from the mod community in the next generation version of the game.
Halk Hogan, creator of The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project mode, said he received an official e-mail from CD Projekt RED for collaboration and that The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project will likely be included in the next generation version.
“In addition to our own development efforts for the next generation version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, we are also in discussions with the creators of various modes,” CD Projekt RED later told Kotaku.
CD Projekt RED added that no binding agreement has been reached between the parties yet.
A new generation version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be released in the second half of 2021.
