Ubisoft announced that the Assassin’s Creed series has spent its most year so far in fiscal year 2020, which ended on March 31, 2021.
The previous record was fiscal year 2012, which ended March 31, 2013, and the series’ total revenue in fiscal year 2020 is 50% higher than in fiscal year 2012.
According to Ubisoft, assassin’s creed III. released on October 30, 2012, and sold more than 12 million copies by the end of December of that year. But in terms of value, assassin’s creed valhalla is the biggest breakout game in the series.
Ubisoft said Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will benefit from the largest, longest and most powerful post-release strategy in series history.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s first expansion Wrath of the Druid arrives on May 13.
