Valheim, which has achieved great success compared to independent productions and has attracted attention as the best survival game of recent times, also reiterates its success in terms of sales figures. The game, which has seen a huge explosion in its weeks of release, has reached high sales figures, and it seems that it has not yet been forgotten. Embracer Group, the parent company of publisher Coffee Stain, has released its latest earnings report for the first quarter of 2021, and Valheim is showing off here.
Valheim managed to make everyone happy.
Valheim, which debuted as an early access game in February, sold 4 million copies in the same month. Sales for the highly-acclaimed game have risen to 6.8 million, according to the latest reports, and the company expects the game to sell another 1 to 1.2 million in the second quarter, which ends in July.
Valheim is the only game publisher Coffee Stain has released so far this year, boosting the company’s net sales by 851%. Embracer Group is doing well in the gaming industry in general. The company has sold 2 million copies for SnowRunner and has also sold as many as 2 million copies of SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom remake.
Valheim’s future is a very bright production, and at this rate, it’s going to appeal to even bigger audiences. With the incoming patches, they not only improve the already good gaming experience, but also continue to work on additional content and expansion packs.
