Publishers The Arcade Crew and Gamera Game and developer Ishtar Games announced that The Last Spell will be available early on Steamon June 3.
The Last Spell is a turn-based tactical role-playing game with roguelite mechanics. Players will lead an army of heroes to defend humanity’s last fortress against hordes of monsters.
“The illegitimate daughter of Final Fantasy Tactics and Dynasty Warriors,” the developer team says of the game.
The early access version will include all the main features of the game and the first part of the game, namely 12 consecutive in-game days and boss fights. Once finished, players will be able to play again with new challenges. Difficulty adjustment options will offer high replayability.
Updates to be released in the coming months will add new content, including improved mechanics and balance changes.
It will go on sale for $19.99 and will be 10% off in its first two weeks.
The full version of the game is planned for the Switch as well as the PC.
