A promotional video has been released for the Characters of Back 4 Blood, which features highlights from this team called The Cleaners. Developed by the Turtle Rock studio, which we will remember for its Left 4 Dead games, the game was announced last year despite its long-standing development. The video introduces each of the eight playable Cleaners (Holly, Walker, Doc, Karlee, Jim, Hoffman, Evangelo and Mom) and tells them their backgrounds, features and in-game abilities. The trailer also provides a glimpse into the range of Ridden variants that players will take on, including monster Breakers, grotesque Ogres, screaming Snitchers, predatory Hags and more.
Back 4 Blood Cleaners team
- After losing her family to Devil Worm, Holly Forrester learned to channel all her energy into being Cleaner and is known as the one who kept the team together. Armed with a spiked baseball bat, he affectionately calls her “Dottie,” Holly’s resilience and stubborn demeanor help lift the team’s spirits and is often seen as a light in the darkness of the apocalypse.
- Walker – The eldest of five siblings, Elijah Walker was born in Evansburgh to a hardworking, blue-collar family. The former Army Ranger and war veteran is highly skilled with a rich frontline combat experience. Walker is a man of a few words, but when he speaks, cleaner, who respects his commitment to fighting, attracts the attention of his friends.
- Doc was instrumental in fort hope’s survival, but it was far from the life Doc expected when he first came to America. Extremely independent, Doc sacrificed social life for a career. Years later, mom finally found a spirit of friendship. After the collapse, Doc’s irrational attitude and pragmatic point of view served him well. And while it may take him a while to get used to the doctor’s attitude, no one is denying that he’s a very good doctor and a ruthless shooter.
- Karlee, who has survived the outskirts of Fort Hope since Karlee –Collapse, was only confident. No one knows much about him, and that’s fine. Although initially seen as a nuisance at best and a marauder at worst, his actions have repeatedly proved which side he is on. Now ridden is on the rise, he chose to fight with the survivors. He may not be a Cleaner by name, but he does more than make up for it with his attitude.
- Jim, nobody knows Finleyville and the surrounding county like Jim. From an early age, he would go to the countryside with his father, hunt with the best and set traps. After a mission in the army, he returned home only to see that he had been devastated by Collapse. Now he’s found his place among the most reliable Cleaners. When he’s not fighting his team back-to-back, Ridden wanders through rural Pennsylvania, which he loves to pave the way for his invasion.
- Hoffman – a meticulous individual, an avid preparer and conspiracy theorist.
When the infection came out, she and her mother walked away from the storm as the rest of the world descended into chaos. After his mother died in his sleep and ran out of supplies, he left his boarding house to face the world of Devil Worm. Howard Robert Hoffman is really talented and kind-hearted, he has a serious desire to be a useful part of the team. As part of Cleaners, he finally came across the family he had always wanted – he had to go through the zombie apocalypse just to find him.
