Late last year, Crytek’s internal correspondence and documents were scattered, and we learned that Crytek was working on both Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 Remastered. Therefore, the news we will receive from Crytek on these issues will not come as a surprise, but it will indicate that the games are coming up.
A message from Crytek’s Twitter account indicates that we will soon receive the news of Crysis 2 Remastered. This could be Summer Game Fest, which starts june 10th, or E3, but it’s definitely recent.
That’s the tweet. He even used that mischievous eye emoji afterwards, the Crysis account.
This sentence is from the opening of Crysis 2, so we can consider it an informal announcement. Unlike Crysis 1, Crytek has already released an HD Texture Pack for the PC version of Crysis 2. We’ll see how far they can go in this Remastered, whether the Remastered version of the first game can fix the reasons that led to the low grades.
