Comic book adaptations have recently taken over the TV and film industry. We can see an adaptation sequence on almost every broadcast platform. On the cinematic side of the business, Marvel is leading the way, but DC and independent comics also have a large number of films. Robert Kirkman, a pioneer in this regard, is a big brand, especially on the show side of the business, along with The Walking Dead. Another masterpiece by the veteran author, Invincible(Amazon Prime;d the animated series, also surpassed a very successful first season.
Robert Kirkman’s Hardcore comic book, created with Marc Silvestri, will appear as a feature film this time. Adam Wingard, who became the director everyone wanted with the film Godzilla vs Kong, will lead the hardcore adaptation.
In fact, when Hardcore first came out, it would consist of only one issue. This method, called “One-Shot”, was shelved after the positive reviews hardcore received and we had another series of comics by Robert Kirkman.
For those of you who’ve read Kirkman’s previous work, Hardcore is moving in a slightly different way. We will witness how a soldier can save the world without getting his hands dirty in the Hardcore story, which occurs when the government starts to control other people’s bodies like a robot thanks to a new technology. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will be sci-fi/thriller. We are looking forward to new developments from hardcore, which does not yet have an official release date.
