Are you ready to celebrate the summer with special Summons? This June, Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. (KONAMI), Yu-Gi-Oh! THE COLLECTION returns to its roots in card game (TCG) and overhauls the greatest creatures of all time.
The first booster set of the month is Yuma’s Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL Number 39: Utopia and Akiza’s Yu-Gi-Oh! New versions of 5D’sBlack Rose Dragon. Also behind the powers of Slifer the Sky Dragon and Obelisk the Tormentor, The God of Egypt Cards returns in two Decks ready to play. Even on this summer’s tournament prize cards, it’s possible to see classic cards being renewed. For example, the great Ultimate Rares in Remote Duels encounters include Zane’s Cyber Dragon with a “dark” variant image.
Fold the power of your decks with the Lightning Overdrive booster set! Tournament Duels include new cards from Genesis Impact, which debuted last December, such as Drytron Mu Beta Fafnir and Diviner of the Herald, to the Drytron Deck, which blows like the wind in tournaments. Dogmatica fans say hello to the new Ritual Monster and Ritual Spell cards. Keep an eye on cards like Dark Honest for competitive duels. Blazing Vortex also supports popular game themes like Springans and War Rock, as well as Sunavalon and Sunvine monsters.
Next, get ready for the craziest innovations in dueling history! Ruddy Rose Dragon Akiza’s Yu-Gi-Oh! A new 10th anniversary party for the Black Rose Dragon in 5D’s. Level retrain. Not only does this new version destroy everything on the playing field, it banishes all the cards in the card graveyard of both Duels. Respond to a destruction effect with it and call the original Black Rose Dragon. Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL fans will want to grab Dragonic Utopia Ray, the new version of Yuma’s Number 39: Utopia. This brand new Xyz card takes the “ZW” monsters from your deck, use your powers, and then Xyz gets rid of the materials and eliminates all your opponent’s effects. Magistus theme Rilliona gets boost with The Magistus of Verre, while Spirit Charmer fans are waiting for Lyna, the new Link Monster version of The Light Charmer. The new surprise of the season, Live? Twin Ki-sikil.
Lightning Overdrive comes june 3 with 100 new cards, 50 Common, 26 Super Rare, 14 Ultra Rare and 10 Secret Rare. Lightning Overdrive Premiere is the first to open Lightning Overdrive packages on May 29-30! Event!’ Interesting surprises await each other! Pick up at least 5 packages from one of the Least Official Tournament Participating Shops and grab a Field Center card, limited to stocks, with cards such as Dragonic Utopia Ray. Also take part in sweepstakes where you can earn gifts such as ultra rare promo card and Lightning Overdrive Game Mat.
It’s not over! The Egyptian God Decks both take the powers of Slifer the Sky Dragon and Obelisk the Tormentor to unimaginable heights and come ready to play. Both decks include a copy of Soul Crossingin, a brand new Quick-Play magic card.
This card allows you to tribute your opponent’s creatures in your Egyptian God’s Tribute cycle. Wipe your opponent’s wretched cards off the playing field completely and show them who has the power!
Egyptian God Deck: Slifer the Sky Dragonise includes Yugi’s signature card as well as a lot of unprecedented support for Attack Points. Thunderforce highlights AttackSlifer’s famous manoeuvre as a Quick-Play magic card, allowing you to destroy all your opponent’s face-up creatures while controlling Slifer the Sky Dragon. You can activate and use Thunderforce Attack at any time, but if you use it in Main Phase, you’re shooting cards as many cards as the number of destroyed creatures. Remember, Slifer the Sky Dragon earns 1000 ATKs/DEF for every card you have! Egyptian God Deck: Obelisk the Tormentor plays to the strengths of Kaiba’s God card and allows you to dominate Obelisk’s deadly Fist of Fate. Another Quick-Play magic, this card stands up to all the abilities of an Effect Monster opposite, destroys it, and prevents it from activating new effects. Just as this card defies the abilities of other creatures of the same name, it also destroys your opponent’s Spell and Trap cards if played in Main Phase!
Which Egyptian God Card is the strongest in the field will be revealed when Egyptian God Deck: Slifer the Sky Dragon and Egyptian God Deck: Obelisk the Tormentor are released on June 17. Each deck of Egyptian Gods comes with 40 cards, including the Deluxe Game Mat/Dueling Guide and 32 Common, 4 Super Rare, and 4 Ultra Rare.
