Along with new compression methods and optimization, Microsoft and Asobo have reduced the game’s file size to 83 GB following their update.
Microsoft Flight Simulator file size reduced to 81 GB
Microsoft Flight Simulator is one of the most successful games of the last period. We can say that the game scored full points, especially from simulation lovers. Thanks to the Bing engine, Microsoft was able to transfer real images to the game, bringing the world at the feet of gamers and bringing the game as close to reality as possible thanks to innovations such as cloud technology. Of course, we passed the place covered by the game, especially in countries like ours, where the biggest problem was the file size. With the new update focusing on this situation, an incredible decrease in file size was achieved.
Microsoft Flight Simulator, which previously had a file size of 170 GB, was reduced to 81 GB after the last update. So compared to the previous situation, we see a decrease of 89 GB. Now we can also say that 81 GB will suffice when you need to download the game. Microsoft declined to comment on how the decline was made, which it dismissed as some optimizations. However, even if you download the game from 81 to 83 GB, let’s remember that the space it will take up in storage will be close to 150 GB.
