The day does not pass so that a new zombie game or zombie mode is not announced. There was only one Watch Dogs universe left that zombies didn’t get their hands on, and fortunately that gap will be addressed with Watch Dogs: Legion of the Dead 🙂 The IGN team offered a first look at the alpha version of Legion of the Dead with their nearly 22-minute gameplay video.

Legion of the Dead, which comes as an expansion for Watch Dogs: Legion; It is described as an online PvE mode that offers rogue-lite style gameplay. Zombies are all over London, and we’re going to be directing a character who’s trying to survive in the middle of this invasion.

You can play Legion of the Dead one person or support co-op gameplay for up to four people. With each attempt, we’ll have to strategize how to get to the next evacuation point, and we’ll have to try to gather as many resources as possible as we move along that path. We will try to get out of this struggle safely using the different abilities of our characters.

Legion of the Dead mode is currently in the alpha process, and the exact release date of the full version is not yet known.
