Far Cry 6 will end a tradition that has been going on since Far Cry 2; Therefore, there is no more Arcade mode in the game.
“No, Arcade is not coming back,” said Alexandre Letendre, the game’s director. It was a difficult decision to take this mode out of our plans, but that allowed us to focus more on the main story that would send players to the center of a guerrilla revolution that is going on today,” he said.
We won’t see Hurk in Far Cry 6. Hurk, whom we met as an NPC in Far Cry 3, became a playable character in Far Cry 4; co-op; and also appeared in Far Cry 5. That’s because they explain, “The Wound is just to give the characters from that region a spotlight.”
It will also be possible to play the entire game Far Cry 5 and New Dawn completely co-op with the tether system we saw.
Far Cry 6 will be released on October 7, 2021 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
