Crytek was once a company that stormed through the Far Cry and Crysis series, raising the bar in games. But in recent years, they seem to have entered a period of pause. Their latest play, Hunt: Showdown, is unclear how much it has met its expectations. So it’s no surprise that they’ve turned the trajectory once again into the Crysis series.
The problems with crysis remastered’s release drew a reaction from gamers. After all, after years of hiatus, gamers were reunited with Crysis and anticipated a better remake. Unfortunately, this expectation was not met. Now both Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 Remastered have been officially announced and Crysis Remastered Trilogy has been announced in a trailer:
Crysis Remastered Trilogy will feature new single versions of Crysis, Crysis 2 and Crysis 3. Thus, for those who were not familiar with the series before, they will be offered the opportunity to play the whole story from start to finish, while also trying to give former players an excuse to return to the series. Saber Interactive has undertaken this study.
As the trailer shows, the trilogy for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Switch will also be available on Xbox Series and PS5 with backward compatibility. A clear date has not been announced, but it is expected to debut in the Autumn.
