ASUS has announced a brand new line of graphics cards based on the latest NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GPUs. Powered by NVIDIA Ampere® architecture, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti delivers exceptional performance boosts and realistic images with acclaimed features such as ray tracing, NVIDIA DLSS performance-enhancing AI, NVIDIA Reflex latency mitigation, NVIDIA Broadcast, and more. The extra memory on the graphics cards also allows you to use the most popular design applications at high speed. In the competitive middle class, the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti’s larger number of CUDA, RT and Tensor cores are vitawling to mid-range systems.
Taking advantage of these new, more powerful GPUs, ASUS has created custom designs that can achieve high clock speeds, low temperature and whisper-level noise. Rog Strix LC GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, our first RTX 30 series model with a hybrid cooling design, has incredible performance potential. Rog Strix and TUF Gaming versions of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti approach air cooling from different angles.
ROG Strix LC GeForce RTX 3080 Ti: The cold that comes with water
To unlock the full potential of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GPU, we’ve turned to a solution that computer enthusiasts all over the world know and love: We’ve used liquid cooling. The card’s speed-oriented style is immediately notable for its addressable RGB LEDs, which glow along the angled front and eye-catching lines on the surface. This time, we opted for a simpler metallic structure in the part that protects the cooling section. Instead of our characteristic cybertext design, we used a simple style ready to integrate with the colorful lights, monochrome tones, and different patterns of other ROG hardware. We also covered the lighting cables in the anti-wear networks on the fan and refrigeration pipes to create a more stylish look.
Full-size water cooling block located under the front; Instead of putting the heat generated in the GPU and GDDR6X memory into the chassis, it transmits it into the liquid cooling cycle. The refrigerant passes through extremely long 600 mm pipes, reaching a radiator of 240 mm. Thanks to these long pipes and the 240 mm radiator’s many chassis-fits-all chassis-fits-all construction, users can safely place the ROG Strix LC GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics card in even the largest cases. This versatile structure also gives system collectors the opportunity to determine the airflow path that best suits the needs of video cards. The radiator can also be installed at the top of the case. So the heat doesn’t go into the vault at all. When the radiator is placed in the front with fans set to take in air, it creates as cool an airflow as possible.
Rog Strix LC GeForce RTX 3080 Ti featured a liquid cooling cycle, but without fans, the success of this card could not be mentioned. Two custom-designed 120 mm fans set to create high airflow and high static pressure allow a large amount of air to pass through the dense fins of the radiator outside. The very quiet fan under the front of the card cools the small cooling block, keeping critical components cool under heavy load. Rog Strix LC GeForce RTX 3080 Ti can intelligently expand cooling with two chassis fans using FanConnect II headers. Instead of using increased CPU or motherboard temperatures as an inadequate source for measuring GPU temperature, FanConnect II headers can track the graphics processor’s temperature, increasing airflow to achieve favorable temperatures during long gaming marathons.
ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti: The air cooling system, which levels up with innovative designs, features three fans rotating in different directions and huge cooling blocks.
TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti: A solid option in every respect, these graphics cards are ideal for systems that prefer to stay out of sight with their extremely simple designs.
ASUS has not yet shared price information for new models.
