CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3: Thanks to the official modulation tools for Wild Hunt, the content that cannot be included in the original version of the game returns to the game through mods. New Witcher 3 mode is expanding the sailing experience to players by offering more interaction and entertainment in the waters of the Skellige. This mode brings one of the cutting contents of the game, namely the boat races back, and offers the opportunity to compete in different water roads.
New Witcher 3 Mode Reclaims the Cut Content: This mode, which is named Boat Races
Boat Races, was created by Merseyrockoff and now allows players to participate in four different boat races held in Novigrad, Oxenfurt, Kaer Trolde and Holmstein. Each race can be launched on the corresponding city’s billboard, like horse races similarly. Although the announcement boards for the first participation are used, players can then start races by visiting the locations where these races occur directly.
Merseyrockoff, the creator of theMod, “This mode back the idea of Cdpr’s original Boat Races. These are planned during the development of the game, but they were removed from the last version. With the publication of REDkit, 100% of the boat race scenario was found in game files, which allows the restoration process to start. Only text and audio files have been found, the rest was created from scratch based on the articles of Cdpr and careful examination of the files. It also explained that all conversations, characters, notifications and log entries in mode are written by CDPR as original, but using Redkit means that it is recreated from my side, and implemented,” he explained.
Nexus Mods is accessible and translated into 17 different languages, but it is noted that the sounds are available only in English. The future updates of the mode aim to add random routes and repeatable races for each race.
