Warner Bros has been keeping fans in a position to wonder since the fourth Matrix film was announced. Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss(pictured) are also in the film, which will see neo/trinity with the return of Hugo Weaving, for example, who plays Agent Smith,will unfortunately not be in the film. Some new characters will also appear for the first time in the next generation of Matrix films. One of them is Christina Ricci,the mysterious name she’ll play.
Collider first reported that Warner Bros. also said in a press release that the successful act was named. Ricci, who previously played Wednesday in The Addams Family in the early 1990s, last appeared in the film Percy. Neil Patrick Harris and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II are also yet to be named in the film’s cast. For Abdul-Mateen, however, the role of Morpheus is often mentioned. The planned release date for Matrix 4, which has been postponed many times due to the pandemic, is December 22nd. The film will be available on HBO Max at the same time as cinemas.
