Ubisoft’s top-to-bottom project Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was to debut about six months ago. After repeated postponements, it was announced, although it was indirectly announced that the project, which we had not heard from for a long time, had been postponed until 2022. The game will not appear in Ubisoft’s E3 presentation either.
The official Prince of Persia Twitter account confirmed that the game would not be seen at the Ubisoft Forward event. Studio officials also emphasized that Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake will be in time for “next year.” For now, the developer team is reluctant to share new information about the game and will share the details of the game with us after a while.
Long delays and development processes that have turned into “hell” can be called things that the Prince of Persia realm is no stranger to. Let’s still look at the glass and be glad the PoP legend is coming back. Of course, we better not see another postponement in 2022…
