At yesterday’s Nintendo Direct screening, there was an announcement that also concerned platforms other than Nintendo, so don’t lose sight of it. The famous survival, horror game series Fatal Frame will also meet PC gamers for the first time in its history.
The Fatal Frame series first appeared in 2001. The first three games were released for PlayStation 2, the fourth game fatal frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse was released for the Nintendo Wii, and the fifth game Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water was released for wii U. The last of these games, maiden of black water, the fifth in the series, will now be adapted to all platforms. The output systems were announced as PC, PS4, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Switch.
In fact, maiden of black water is one of the fatal frame games that has failed compared to others. The reason they didn’t start the series over for Port and chose game five is probably because it’s easier to port; But it’s going to be interesting to see the players dive into the series at the end.
Koei Temco says this new version will be released later this year and will have more advanced visuals. There will also be a Photo Mode in the game. Koei Tecmo doesn’t have a very good reputation for PC ports, but we’ll see how that goes.
