Kevin hart says borderlands is unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. Praising Eli Roth, Hart claims the director has done an outstanding job and that the film is visually unique.
Hart trained with Navy SEALS to get the role of Roland in the film. When Roth told the actor he could get the part “if he came prepared,” Hart went and worked with navy SEALS, mastering both firearms and melee.
When you think of Kevin Hart, we immediately think of funny roles, which we’re not wrong about. After all, considering his recent films, both Jumanji and Hobbs & Shaw focused on the actor’s comedy side. As Romand in Borderlands, Hart said there was no room for comedy, adding that “I’m in full swing, there’s no comedy. I’m asked about the action,” Collider said in an interview.
The film Borderlands, directed by Eli Roth, also has a solid cast. Cate Blanchett as Commander Lilith, Jack Black as Claptrap, Jamie Lee Curtis as Dr. Tannis and Ariana Greenblatt as Tiny Tina. Commander Knoxx, created specifically for the film, will be played by Janina Gavankar.
